In accordance with Tearfund policies, the FM will maintain sound internal and partner controls to safeguard assets, mitigate the risk of financial loss and fraud, and satisfy donor and statutory audit requirements.</p>\n<p>As a key member of the Country’s Senior Management Team, the FM provides strategic financial leadership, ensuring that Tearfund’s financial strategy aligns with the country’s overall objectives and supports the expansion of the funding portfolio. The FM will lead initiatives in change management, process improvement, and robust financial management within the Country Programme. Serving as the primary finance business partner to the Country Director, the FM is expected to offer proactive, responsive financial support, analysis, and guidance to the Country Leadership Team.</p>\n<p>The role requires close collaboration with regional and global finance teams to ensure effective implementation of financial policies and procedures. Additionally, the FM is responsible for the training and development of in-country finance staff and maintaining strong relationships with external stakeholders, including government agencies, donors, auditors, and banks. The initiative is expected to target nano and micro enterprises, with a strong emphasis on youth and women, particularly in rural and peri-urban areas in green economy. FC Africa will play a central role in program design, coordination, and oversight, working with a network of local partners to deliver scalable and impactful interventions. The program is anticipated to adopt a market-driven and ecosystem-based approach, integrating enterprise support, financial inclusion, and skills development to drive sustainable livelihoods and economic resilience.</p>\n<p><strong>POSITION SUMMARY </strong></p>\n<p>Access to Finance Manager will lead and coordinate access to finance interventions under the new program in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
